I got my bridal makeup and hair done with them for two days and my mother got her hair and makeup done for my wedding. Everyone loved the makeup and the final look! We got so many compliments and the artists with my mum were so amazing too she said she didnt even feel the need to explain too much. Neither of our makeup dried or cracked! I was so worried about it cracking and later so surprised! My makeup stayed through the snow storm and through me crying 🙈 I am so glad I booked you guys! When it came to me on my wedding day, I wanted to be sure that I was supporting smaller business owners. When it came to hair and makeup however, I wanted to be sure that the company I went with understood and appreciated my SKIN and my HAIR. As I continued my research I began to realize that the wedding beauty industry leans very much to a particular demographic. As a bride I was starting to feel unseen and disappointed. THEN I found THE KEY LOOK. From day 1 I felt secure and confident in the company and in the owner, Keziah! She responded with kindness and professionalism, and from our first phone call I felt confident this was the company to make me feel my best on my special day! If you’re thinking about booking them for your wedding, don’t think twice. Just do it. Keziah was very responsive whenever I had questions in the months leading up to my wedding and did everyone’s makeup perfectly. If you wanted a different look, she didn’t hesitate to adjust what she was doing to make sure that you loved the way you looked. Keziah and her team are extremely personable and we loved working with them on my wedding day. A handful of my bridesmaids even said they thought this was the best professional makeup experience they’ve ever had! Booking hair was something I dragged my feet on because all my bridesmaids are different races and had different hair types, textures, and lengths. Most companies don't show women of all races so it's hard to determine if they'll be able to deliver. And before I reached out to The Key Look, I was ghosted by another company when I asked if there was someone who was experienced in doing black/mixed textured hair. Keziah and The Key Look came to my rescue. Keziah emailed me back right away to let me know she was going to email me back in the morning to talk and when she did, we talked in details about my needs. She asked a lot of questions to determine a game plan needed for my wedding and gave me a very reasonable price. Even though I booked The Key Look for my hair barely 2 months before my wedding, Keziah checked in on me multiple times before my date and was quick to email me back if I had a question or concern. Jenever was my amazing stylist and was on time and ready to work for both my weave installation the night before my wedding and at 6:45am the morning of. Everyone was so happy with their looks and even though it rained and was humid that day, everything stayed in place ALL DAY. I HIGHLY recommend The Key Look for anything, but especially for your wedding day! They are so efficient, caring, and amazing, and would choose them again over and over. read less

My vision was to have my own hair and makeup done, but also to treat my diverse group of bridesmaids to the same. As I began my search, it felt like all the other brides had thought so much ahead and local stylists were quickly filling up their calendars for 2022. On top of that, the prices I was quoted felt far out of my reach. Finally, an acquaintance shared the team that she used for her wedding, TheKeyLook, and with the desperate stroke of my computer keys, I reached out. When I emailed Keziah to ask if her team was available, she was immediately responsive, professional, and calmed my nerves. At my bridal trial a few weeks later, they created a relaxing, fun environment and I’m not surprised that this carried over into my wedding day. I walked out with a bounce in my step. On the wedding day itself, they joined us in our hotel room and worked diligently on each bridesmaid, mother of the bride, and myself intentionally and methodically. They were not stingy on the compliments either making everyone feel bold and beautiful. Jenever absolutely slayed my wig application and it lasted through the Mexican heat on my honeymoon. Keziah has a fresh energy and brings out each natural feature and contour of your face with her brush strokes. Erini was also there on the wedding day adding a nice touch of glam to the girls. All in all, I can’t thank them enough for the experience and the ways they celebrated with me in my marriage. It was truly a highlight that I will look back on and tell other brides about along the way! read less

Keziah, Jenever, and Alisha are incredible and beyond talented! My bridal party was made up of girls of every different skin type/tone and hair type. It was my #1 priority to make sure I had beauty services that could actually work with us and these ladies made all of us look beautiful and feel amazing. Keziah is a beautiful person whose company embodies inclusivity, luxury, and quality. She helped me in the morning to coordinate with the venue staff and other vendors. She truly went above and beyond what she needed to do do help me have a great day. All three ladies brought the most positive uplifting energy. They were like old friends hanging out with us on a girls night. Keziah was so wonderful throughout my planning process, always responding quickly and made all the accommodations I needed. My day would not have been the same if they weren’t apart of it. I cannot say enough good things about them and wish I could get married all over again just to hire them! 					Disappointed with the responses I received from my own MUA research and inquiries, I acted on a whim and reached... read moreDisappointed with the responses I received from my own MUA research and inquiries, I acted on a whim and reached out to Key Look after seeing pictures of their work for an acquaintance's wedding. And so GLAD I DID! Keziah and Alisha were awesome. They were friendly, actually listened to everyone's requests in the wedding party, however vague it was, and did it within the time limit for both hair and makeup. All of our guests commented on our makeup, on how flawless and natural it looked with all of our different skin tones, ranging from fair to medium dark brown. Better yet, it did not feel like makeup caked on my face, my hair did not feel like weights, and both hair and makeup stayed intact with a minimal touch-up for over 12+ hours. I did a trial and thought it helped to improve the wedding day's version so much more. Seriously, no complaints, only praise. Would highly recommend and hope to use their magic for another special occasion soon! read less
